Curry on becoming the owner of a team: "It's definitely possible"

According to US media reports, Curry said on CNBC's "Squawk on the Street" that he is likely to become the owner of an NBA team in the future.

Curry said on the show: "For me, this is definitely a good option. I can help maintain the current glory of the NBA and understand the conditions required to operate a championship team... I know that there are still many tasks on the court that need to be completed before I change my role in the league."

Previously, Michael Jordan set a benchmark for NBA player transformation by purchasing the Charlotte Hornets. Since then, Grant Hill (Hawks), Shaquille O'Neal (Kings), Dwyane Wade (Jazz) and Magic Johnson (Lakers) have all served as team shareholders. Curry is likely to become a team shareholder or spokesperson like these players in the future.
