In the first round of the UEFA Nations League group stage away to Ireland, goals from Rice and Grealish helped England take a 2-0 lead.
Rice scored first, and Grealish's goal also came from his assist, but he had played three times for Ireland in the early stages of his career before deciding to play for England.
Grealish has never played for the Irish senior team, but most of his youth international career has also been for Ireland, and he has made a total of 21 appearances for Ireland's national youth teams at all levels.
Ironically, Irish fans taunted the two players with a banner in the stands that read "The Snakes Are Back" at the start of the game, and they both scored.
