Injured in his debut, Cuomo did not register Varane in Serie A

The Serie A League has officially announced the registration status of each team after the end of the summer transfer window, among which Como's new signing Varane has not been registered.

Varane just joined Como on a free transfer from Manchester United this summer, but he only played for 23 minutes in the first round of the Italian Cup against Sampdoria before being replaced due to a knee injury. That game was also his first appearance in Como.

After the game, Varane was confirmed to have injured the medial ligament of his left knee and will be out for a while. Como may not have registered the French defender for this reason.
