Augsburg officially announced that Nigerian international Onyeka joined from Premier League club Brentford on loan for one season. The terms of the loan deal were not disclosed.

Onyeka is 26 years old, from Nigeria, and plays as a midfielder. So far, he has played 78 times for Brentford, scoring 1 goal and assisting 4 times. Onyeka is currently worth 9 million euros on Transfermarkt.

Onyeka's contract with Brentford will expire in the summer of 2027.
