Official: Espanyol signs Ajax winger Yu Nivar on loan

The Espanyol club officially announced that they have loaned in 21-year-old Turkish winger Yu Nivar from Ajax.

The official announcement reads: "The Espanyol club and Ajax club have reached an agreement on the transfer of striker Yu Nivar (born on June 13, 2003), who will play for the Espanyol team this season. Yu Nivar was a member of the Turkish U21 national team. Last season he was loaned to Twente by Ajax."

Yu Nivar's data during the 2023-24 season while on loan at Twente: 25 appearances (2 starts), a total of 604 minutes of playing time, 4 goals and 3 assists.

According to previous reports, Yu Nivar's loan period is until June 30, 2025, and the loan agreement includes a buyout clause.
