Official: Former Juventus defender Sandro joins Flamengo, signing until 2026

Flamengo, a Brazilian club, officially announced that it has signed 33-year-old defender Sandro, and the two sides signed a contract until 2026.

Alex Sandro, 33, will leave Juventus this summer when his contract expires. Today, Flamengo officially announced that Alex Sandro joined the team as a free agent, and the two sides signed a contract until 2026.

Before joining Porto in the summer of 2011 and landing in European football, the Brazilian defender played for Parana, Santos and Maldonado Sports.

After joining Juventus in 2015, Alex Sandro played 327 games for the Zebras, scored 16 goals, and won 5 Serie A titles and other honors.
