James's career began in Colombia's Envigado club in 2006, and then joined Argentina's Banfield in 2008. In 2010, he signed with Portugal's Porto club, where he played for three seasons before moving to Monaco in the 2013-14 season. After the 2014 World Cup, Real Madrid signed the Colombian star for nearly 80 million euros. During his time at Real Madrid, James played 125 times, scored 37 goals and contributed 42 assists, especially in the Champions League. He is now about to return to Spanish football.
