Reus: I will discuss cooperation with Dortmund next; I have talked to Heynckes about Bayern's interest

In an interview with "Sports Bild", Reus said that he has deep ties with Dortmund and will now focus on the LA Galaxy.

Discussing his decision to leave Dortmund, Reus said: "We had a meeting with the management and in that conversation we quickly realized: OK, this is it. This is It was a good journey with many ups and downs but it's over now. But it was important for me to know that and announce it in advance so that I could enjoy the last few weeks [in Dortmund]. " 

Regarding Bayern's interest in him in 2012, Royce said: "Yes, I really communicated with Heynckes at the time. I would love to stay in the Bundesliga, so it's completely normal to talk to a few clubs. It means a lot to me and it's a good move for Heynckes, but nothing compares to Dortmund for me. "When you know so many people and have such a deep connection (with the club), it's really hard not to go back," Reus said of the possibility of returning to Dortmund in the future. It's silly. I'm not one to make a three-year plan. I have big goals at LA Galaxy, but those are my priorities for sure in the next few months. Cooperation matters."

Talking about Dortmund's new signings, Royce said: "They have made very good reinforcements, but it will take some time for the new players to leave. Players need to adapt to the club. There will probably be some setbacks for the club." In the end, Royce said: "What I enjoy most is the time in the dressing room with my teammates. The moments of togetherness are really precious. I can only advise every professional player to cherish these moments. It will all come to an end eventually."
