In the second round of the Champions League, Aston Villa will play against Bayern at home. Villa defender Konsa looked forward to this match before the game.
Konsa said: "From playing in League One all the way to playing in the Champions League, I have only recently digested it. Last year I got my first England call-up and that's when I really realised how far I have come."
"I really enjoyed my time at Charlton, then I went to Brentford for a season and now I'm at Villa. It's been quite a journey! I'm looking forward to making more memories at Villa."
"The thought of facing the best attackers in the world in the Champions League is exciting for me. I look forward to every game and of course I've come up against top strikers in the Premier League."
"Going against the best is something I've always dreamed of when I was growing up, so every Champions League game is exciting and I know I'm up to the challenge."
Konsa added: "The new Champions League format is no problem for me. It means we can play more games. This season I play in the Champions League for the first time and it's always been a dream of mine, so the more games the better!"
