Inter Milan midfielder Zielinski's hometown is currently suffering from floods, and a large number of buildings have been destroyed. His father introduced the disaster situation in an interview with Polish media SportowyFakty.
Residents in southern Poland have been troubled by floods for several days. Heavy rains have caused rivers to overflow in many places, and some towns have even been completely flooded. Zielinski's hometown of Zonbkovice in Lower Silesia Province has not been spared.
Zelinski's parents run two orphanages in their hometown. His father Boguslaw Zielinski introduced their current situation: "On Friday, I was with a friend about 40 kilometers away from our hometown. People came to the sanatorium for temporary stay and then couldn't leave. The whole area was destroyed by floods."
The floods also flooded the football field in Zielinski's hometown. His father said: "Where I used to train, you can see about 30 cm of the goalpost (exposed above the water). There is so much water there, only 10 kilometers away from where we are."

Zelinski's father added: "Fortunately, the floods did not cause major damage. Now there is water everywhere, the stadium is soaked, training has been cancelled, but these are not losses compared to the surrounding areas. Everyone in this area knows someone affected by the floods. Our accountant's office was flooded, my daughter-in-law's family lost a shop, the water destroyed it and wiped it off the ground, the flood did not leave even a building."
The Zielinski couple are from the same region, and the wife of the Inter Milan midfielder posted a fundraising link on social media, encouraging people to donate to her hometown. Currently, the Lower Silesia Province, Opole Province and parts of the Silesia Province have entered a state of natural disaster.
